Who?
I am a part of a team of seven from CCF (Collegiate Christian Fellowship). We will be joined by 3 other teams from Maine, Colorado, and Seaside, Oregon. We will be working with the TeachBeyond program (check them out at http://teachbeyond.org/)!
What?
We will be running an English Camp during the day! Afterwards, we hope to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the college-aged students.
Where?
We will be in Brest, Belarus located in the southwest tip of Belarus near the border of Poland.
When?
The camp is from July 27-August 2. But our team will be in Belarus July 22 through August 5 for training and debriefing.
Why?
This is the first question my dad asked me. Why do I want to do this? What is the need? I feel called to be a part of this mission in Belarus for two reasons.
1. God has blessed me with the spiritual gift of teaching and I want to use this gift to serve and glorify Him.
2. While I've been on short-term mission trips before, I've never been in an environment where my explicit goal is to share the joy that is the Gospel. I want to participate in this mission trip to push myself in my own faith.
